Dr. Chaudhuri

Dr. Chaudhuri is the Chief Financial Officer and V.P. of Business Development  and has unique and far-reaching experience in biotechnology entrepreneurship and maintains an international collaboarative network of business development in the biological sciences.  Prior to joining BMI, Dr. Chaudhuri  was Vice President of Business Development, at silicon valley based Actis Biologics Inc. and helped set up Asian operations. Previously Ray was a Biotech Associate at a Maryland based venture firm.

Prior to his work in the private sector, Ray served in the Office of the Director at the National Institutes of Health where he helped create a graduate school within NIH and was involved in building national and international academic-institutional partnerships. Dr. Chaudhuri also created the Biosciences Business Interest Group to promote entrepreneurship at NIH. Prior to being an administrator, he was a scientist focusing on stem cell biology and viral immunology. As a scientist, Ray has published in several peer-reviewed journals and presented his research at numerous national and international scientific meetings.
